Torch is a minimalistic tabletop roleplaying game with emphasis on storytelling and creativity, allowing players and game masters to focus on those aspects of the game rather than complex game mechanics and dice mathematics. This game is purposely light-on-rules, allowing for a more free and open-ended narrative.
Torch is a 2d12 roll-over system which offer dynamic outcomes based on a player's "calm" state, a dynamic resource that changes throughout gameplay.
Torch is free, and will always be free.

This is really interesting. I always like rules lite games that let me and my friends RP more than combat games. This is just perfect for me and my friends.
Thank you! 🙏🏻 Yeah same! I wanted a system more focused on roleplaying and having the Calm mechanic as a hook also makes it a bit more fun (imo). 😬
I’ve played this without combat aswell, so works for murder/mystery RP’s too!
